Infantry, cavalry and artillery units also may be trained in up to two out of twenty-five “special abilities” that give them specialties in combat. According to this report, Gens. Stuart, Longstreet, Lee and Jackson have each trained one of the brigades under their command, while two garrison units and two infantry brigades gained special abilities directly through combat.
